Book Case Project Update

I finally finished painting them and they are in my room. I'm still not completely finished. I still need to install extra shelves and find yellow wallpaper to decorate the back of it. I'm thinking I will save that until we move. So far I really love them though. They fit my wall perfectly and I think they really give a pop, which will only become more intense when I install yellow wallpaper. The thing I really like about them is that since there are three units I can really organize my books. The first unit, and only full one, is for all my manga. The second one with the doors has my anime, nick-knacks and some big craft supplies. The last one has all my novels, educational books and then some of my note/sketch books I use for crafts and ideas. Not gonna lie, one of them has also become a place I just toss random things. Another great thing is that I have a decent amount of space above my book cases to put more of my nick-knacks up there. I also put my encyclopedia up there that had previously been hiding in my closet in a large vodka box lol I think the move humorous thing about all this is that the extra room we were gonna turn into a bedroom as now become my mom's craft room.

My frame project is also almost complete. I just need to add the wire and maybe some extra details. Even though I really like it, I do not like organizing my earrings like that so I will probably either give it as a gift or sell it. Not sure yet.
Now for a quick update on myself. I've downgraded my phone and still need to save up for a ipod touch. I've just recently bought an actual GPS that I have named Henry the 8th. And yes, I named it that just so I could sing the song. My sewing machine has finally been fixed and I'm so happy about it. I was even able to get a bunch of sewing patterns for a dollar each. Now I just need to find the time. I'm on day four of nine days working in a row. Even though my sewing machine just got fixed I'm also saving up for a serger. I've also recently have been buying flowers for in the house and been arranging them myself. I feel my mom and I work hard and deserve a little treat like this.

Book Case Project

My mom and I have an extra bedroom that was more like an extra living room that never got used. We decided to turn it into an actual bedroom and are gonna move my bed set up there and get newish stuff for me. Which is nice since I've been needing a larger bookcase and not feeling the all black look anymore. I was able to find a three unit book case on Craigslist for only $60. Sure its not reel wood and has a few flaws but overall it was just what I was looking for. I decided I wanted to paint them and add a few more shelves to it since even thought they're tall they only have three shelves. I have all the supplies and went about $10 more than planned but hey, I spent about $40 less than I thought I would on the cases alone. So really I'm still about $30 under budget which is really good since I still need to buy extra shelves. Anyway its day three of my painting project. First day was sanding it. Man, in the first min I stopped and went out to get masks. I thought I was gonna die. Day two was priming. I ended up calling my dad for some tips but he ended up coming over and priming most of it lol Today was day three and I was able to get two coats of paint on most of it. One unit still needs a second coat and I might do a third on them. Anyways that's basically what I've been up to. I already have my next project underway. Its a self standing swivel picture frame that I'm gonna turn into an earing holder. Sadly that will only take me one day. Not even, all I have to do I sand the back a bit, spray paint it and add a metal mesh.

Shoe Tips

Has it really been about five months!? I’ve been really bad about posting. Part of the reason is because when I am home I’m either doing things around the house or reading manga, but the main reason is just because no one really reads this. My last post I said I’d do some makeup tips next but I no longer remember what ones I was going to do. Instead I’m going to do some quick tips on shoes. First I just want to apologize for the quality of the pictures, I wasn’t planning to do this so I quickly took some pictures with my phone. Also my shoe tips are mainly for heels because both my mom and I LOVE heels.

TIPS
~Storage/Display. I think we’ve all at some point had a box or a pile of shoes. Of course when you do this you end up missing one or two, they get scratched up or one dirty shoe can dirty the rest. I’m not going to even try to hide the fact that I do have a box full of shoes, but I only keep shoes in there I use for working in the garden. No sneakers, heels and never any name brand ones. There are several proper ways to store/display your shoes. There are organizers you store under your bed, ones you can hang over your door, and there is even a shoe tree. No I’m not saying they grow on trees, I wish. Because I don’t have a lot of space in my room and I like quick access I use a shoe rack. Down side of a shoe rack though is that they can get dusty. My mom, who has mostly name brands and a whole extra closet worth a space, does one of two things. She will either keep them in the original box or place them in individual clear plastic containers with a picture of the shoe on the outside. This is great because it keeps them clean and well organized. If you’re storing boots I recommend placing either the cardboard roll from paper towels or water bottles in the neck of the boot so it doesn’t flop over and lose its shape. I don’t know about you but feet tend to sweat a bit, not lovely I know. Because of this I’ve started to store my shoes with newspaper. The newspaper absorbs any moisture left behind and it is also great at absorbing odors (especially with plastic containers.)
~Comfort. Generally you cannot shrink shoes but you sometimes can with tennis shoes or leather ones. First soak them in a water and vinegar solution and then either stick them in the dryer or let them sit in a bright warm place until they are completely dry. You might have to do this a few times and do not leave them in direct sunlight too long or the leather can crack. Stretching shoes is a lot easier. You can either buy a shoe stretcher, which is nice because they sometimes come with attachments in case you have a toe or bone that sticks out more than normal. Personally I do it the cheap way that I learned from Michelle Phan. Fill a plastic zip bag with water, not completely full and place it in the shoe and the shoe in the freezer. Do not fill the bag completely and try to get most of the air out. As we all know water expands and since you placed the water filled bag in your shoe, your shoe will expand too. Again you might have to repeat this a few times. Keep in mind neither ways are you going to get a major change like a 6 to an 8. Generally it changes about half a shoe size. My biggest tip for comfortable heels is to get inserts. Personally I do not like any of the silicon ones. If you get any moisture in your shoe you’re going to have a slippery mess. I prefer rubber ones with a spongy feel. The ones below are my favorite because I get them at the dollar store and they have a good sticky backing.

They can go either on the back where the heel is or under the front part of the shoe to help keep your foot from slipping out or if the shoe is a little too big. Here are my favorite shoes.

The black and white ones are just a little too big so I just need them in the back. The black ones are higher and a bit too big so my foot tends to slip out so with these I have them in both the back and front. For flats or tennis shoes you should probably get an insert that has an arch or good shock absorber.

Makeup Review #2

It’s been about three months since my last post so I decided to do a makeup review and tips but the review alone is long so I’ll do tips another day. If you have any questions feel free to ask.

REVIEW

~True Blue SPA Just A Minute 60 second manicure scrub~
Price: $12
Pros: Exfoliates hands, warm foaming sensation, and smells nice.
Cons: Dried out my hands.
Thoughts: When I first used it, it did make my hands feel soft, but after a few hours my hands were worse than before.
Over All: I would not recommend this product.

~Clinique Moisturizing Gel~
Price: $24
Pros: has a pump, little goes a long way, moisturizes.
Cons: N/A
Thoughts: The gel one is for combination oily to oily skin. If you have Very dry to dry combination they recommend the lotion form. The amount in one pump was able to cover both my face and neck. It didn’t leave my skin feeling heavy or greasy. I really liked it for summer and fall but now that it feels like winter here my skin is getting really dry and I need two pumps so I might get the lotion one for winter.
Over All: I recommend this product. Best moisturizer I’ve used since… well since I stopped using it about 4 years ago (>_<)

~Hylexin~
Price: .78oz is $95
Pros: Gets rid of dark puffy circles around the eyes, little goes a long way.
Cons: the price (o.O)
Thoughts. First I just want to say that I myself did not buy it. My mom had bought the .38oz, which I think is now discontinued, and we don’t remember the price, but she didn’t want it so she gave it to me. It really did help with the darkness I get towards my inner corner, and you really only need the tiniest amount to do both eyes. It even says to use sparingly.
Over All: Even though it works well, because of the price I’d only recommend it if you have serious dark/puffy circles and nothing cheaper has worked for you.

~Revlon ColorStay (foundation)~
Price: $12 (depending where you buy it)
Pros: Good coverage can be found just about anywhere makeup is sold.
Cons: Can be tricky to blend
Thoughts: I love that it comes in both combination/oily skin and Combination/dry skin. For hygienic reasons I’d like it to come in a pump form. I found the best way to apply this was to put a small layer of moisturizer on the back of my hand, a few drops of the product and then apply it to the face with a kabuki brush. The moisturizer just kind of helps to keep it from staining the back of your hand and blend out a bit easier. I’ve read a lot of review on this and almost every one of them loved this product and said it was a close MAC dupe.
Over All: I Would recommend this to anyone that is looking for a foundation that has good coverage.

~Missha BB Cream #23~
Price: 30ml about $15(depending where you buy)
Pros: Good coverage, SPF 42, skin whitening, anti wrinkle. Comes in either pump or squirt form. Little goes a long way.
Cons: only comes in two colors. Natural beige and light beige. Sold mostly in Korea so has to be bought online.
Thoughts: Not going to go into great detail but BB cream is basically a beauty balm. It works as a foundation or concealer, with a lot of extra benefits. I got the natural beige, it comes out a little darker than what I am but it blends in half a shade lighter than me. Does have a kind of dewy look so I used a mineral powder in my shade to matt it down and help match my skin tone. Since it’s mainly sold in East Asia it really only suits a small skin tone range. I hope they change this soon because if I get tan it for sure wont match mine anymore.
Over all: If it matches your skin tone I for sure recommend it. Here is where I bought mine RubyRubyshop

~Carmex Moist Plus Balm~
Price: about $3 (depending where you buy it)
Pros: umm, nice tube?
Cons: dried out my lips, did not last long.
Thoughts: When I first put it on it made my lips soft but left a lot of product on my lips. Shortly after putting it on my lips would get dry again and over all my lips were much worse compared to before I started using it. In less then a week I had used up about 1/5 of it.
Over All: Stay away from it, stick with the classic Carmex.

~Sally Hansen Nail Art Pen~
Price: around $7 depending where you buy it.
Pros: easy control for nail designs.
Cons: For now they only come in eight colors.
Thoughts: I absolutely love these, They had a buy one get one half off at CVS so I got them in white and black, and will for sure be going back to get the other six colors. I thought it was going to be a felt tip pen, which would get dull over time, but it’s plastic. It doesn’t leak out from the tip because it sort of works like a fountain pen. The white one is easy to completely wipe off if you make a mistake but the black one does not. Keep in mind if you do buy these you need to let it dry and must put on a topcoat.
Over All: Even if it’s just to do a French manicure I for sure recommend these. They’re so much fun.

Glasses and MOA

So I've been needing... wanting, a pair of new glasses for a while so I decided to get a pair of cheap frames I like and just get some prescription lenses put in. I found exactly what I wanted and really only paid for shipping cuz I had an AMAZING discount. Well I went and got the eye exam, and whipped out the frames I got. Apparently you cannot put lenses in all frames. They said since there was like no info on them they would most likely melt (oT^To) This made me very sad. Well right after Carissa and I were off to MOA to meet up with Ashra and Tom. We had a so much fun just walking around. I went into the Hello Kitty store, as seen on tv for the first time and had the best two cups of bubble tea ever. A bunch of my co workers were there too and so I got to say hi to them. I wish we lived closer to that mall. Oh and while we were there I was able to find the same frames, cheaper, and they have info and stuff so I'm hoping I'll be able to get my prescription put in them. I'll find out tomorrow. Since my mom is gonna be getting her hair done I'm gonna ask her stylist about getting a perm. She's the best. Umm I don't really have anything else to say so latter days.

No Friends For While

For the next 2-3 months I don't plan to make any plans to hang out with friends unless I really have a lot of spare time or they've already asked me to. Why you ask? Because I really need to spend time just working for my paychecks and to also work on some projects. This includes; charms, jewelery, baked/cooked goods, and even sewing and dying. I've actually never hand dyed anything so I'm really excited about starting that. I also wont be going online as much. Really, in this time frame I plan to only use the comp to check my messages.

Other than that I've decided to get a laptop instead of a tower, just cuz for what I use my comp for a laptop will serve me just fine. But this is still a bit far away since I still have things I need to pay and a car that I desperately want so I can also get a second job. Yes you read that right. I plan to get a second job. Even if that means I only work a few ours a week and make only $6/hr. Why you ask? Because its gonna be at a bakery so I can get some experience in.

I swear she's following me around. Like how I thought I saw her at work while cleaning up soft lines, no I wasn't looking in a mirror. More than once when I was digging through the movie bins at Walmart, the first movie I pick up is The Grudge. And now, I clicked 'next blog' which I rarely do. Whats the first thing I see? That stupid Grudge Girl!!!

Now that I got that out of me... Yesterday I hung out with Ashra, Tom and Jessica. Man did I spend a lot on manga. Kinda regret it yet not lol

FF:DW and Easter

Sorry I didn't post this sooner. As soon as I got home from the Final Fantasy: Distant World concert I recorded some vids then went to bed. I've been tired ever since XD Though I'd be able to sleep in last night but then I remembered I had to go out to lunch and movie with my dad today.

Any ways the concert was amazing! And it was really special because MN was the first in their US tour. For some reason though the people behind and in front of us left early. Oh yeah I went with Tiff and Tony. I'm glad the people in front of us left early though cuz the girl had huge... something that freak me out. You all know what I'm talking about. And I got to sit next to some cute guys. Though I didn't know guys, actually people, could be that skinny and not look malnourished. The only sad part is that the movie screen behind the orchestra, the top 1/3 was cut off. So when it got to the end I was 'wfh they didn't play Sephiroth's theme!? Which for some reason I love. But they did. It was insisted. I have to say some observations that Tiff and I made though. First, I've never seen that many Asians in a theater. Second, less than 1/4 of the people there were geeky annoying teens. In fact there were a lot of well dressed people. Which both made me kinda happy.

Like I said I made some vids, just haven't gotten around to editing them and such. Just been really tired.

Easter was okay. I got lots of sleep. No chocolate though, which I really wanted. Didn't do much for dinner... er lunch. My grandpa brought over the best roast I've ever had though and we made a full box of spuds.... my mom told me make the max servings and the max is the whole box. She thought it would be like 8 servings lol She was wrong. lol Oh well we all know I love instant spuds.

I think there was more I was gonna say but my mind is a but fuzzy right now. Watching The Cougar. And she is fine.

Oh yeah I remembered. I want to get married. Like now, skip the dating go straight to the 'I do's.

So tomorrow is the big day! I'm so excited, just wish Jessica could go (T^T) So I got some shoes and a purse for my outfit... okay so its my mom's purse, its still hot. I also plan to make a few YT vids tomorrow either before I leave or when I get back. Either way be on the look out for them.

Today I was also finally approved for a Target card so I got myself a new computer monitor. Its a 18.5" lcd made by ACER... anyone heard of them cuz I haven't lol But so far I really like it, just wish it was a little taller. But my room looks so much better without a giant white box now. It really just kinda blends in with my desk and letter table. Now all I need is a new TV and stand for it. Originally I wanted to just get a 16" tv/monitor combo but its out of my price range. I'll just wait till my mom gets a new tv.

I'm so excited. So yesterday I found out that there will be a Final Fantasy orchrastra concert near me. So of course I had to get tickets, and I've managed to get someone to fill in for my shift that night. I even got a new outfit.

Comfy black cotton dress.... on sale! fer less than $7 Gray Leggings and my first scarf ever ^_^ that the lovely Sami got for me. Now I just need to find some shoes.

My funny story for the day really has nothing to do with me. Rather it has to do with my coworker. So she was doing her job, answering some questions about games to this middle aged guy. And with a lot of the older guests it usually involves a bit of small talk. So after a while when he went to look around he goes back to her and basically says 'so I was wondering if i could get to know you better. Maybe take you out for dinner?' I'm still laughing about it.

Now for some bad news. Cuz the tickets and mostly cuz of car probs It will probably add another month till I get MY car...... So fing sad. I need a raise.

Serious Pain, Clothes, Youtube... All In One Day!

So yesterday I woke up around 6:30am, only 5 hours after going to bed, doubled over in pain. And I stayed like that for about 4 hours before the pain killers even started to kick in. Needless to say I called in sick. Once the pain started to come back though I took a bigger pain killer and have been fine since.

I've decided that once I get a car I am going on a serious shopping spree. I think there are only about 5 tops/jackets and 2 pairs of jeans in my closet that I actually like and wear. So I feel I always wear the same things when I go out. Not that I really do any more cuz I work so much. But really there are so many things in my closet that I don't need or want so if any of my friends want any of them, I'll give you a good deal on them.... not including my corsets and skirts, but I do want to sell my tripp pants and such.

So today Jessica and I went out for a long walk. It was fun, other than my blister. But to he honest, even though I felt like my legs were getting tired, I don't feel like I accomplished much. No, not just cuz I had Arby's twice today XD More cuz I know my heart rate couldn't have been above 120, which is where it needs to be to really get a work out. But I guess thats okay cuz I did hard core workouts 3 days in a row which is bad. Hence the blister XP

Right now I'm kinda in one of those moods where I just don't like people. Not anyone in particular, just people lol There are probably only 2 people I can stand to be around right now and one I'd be willing to force myself to be with lol If that makes any sense. I almost feel like just going away and completely starting over. Maybe thats why I've been wanting to go to Cali so much lately. Lets face it, it's not that I'm to lazy to do that. I'm just to poor ^_^ Oh well I'll probably be out of this mood in a few days. I would say by tomorrow but I have to work closing shift >=[

Grand Slamming XD

Cheese title I know. Couldn't think of anything. Got back a little over an hour ago. Got together with some friends that I haven't seen in a long time. We all met up at Pizza hut then went to grand slam. It was okay, had fun just hanging with friends. Wish we could all do it more often just hard to do with everyones schedule and such. Also would help if I had my own car >=( I'm working on it though. I only need about $3k more...... Well my next check wont be much but the one following it will be. My favorite work buddy is leaving the state for like a week or two for a class project, so I'll be taking over her electronics schedule. I also got a new lamp. Well its not really 'new' Theres quite the story with it to.

So when my mom first got married she got this super pretty antique table lamp. Well my grandpa said she took that from him when they got divorced so my mom never used it. I don't even remember it. My mom getting annoyed with him mentioning it every time he saw hit, gave it back to him. Well a few years latter he gave it back to my mom saying he never uses it. Yeah he's that kinda person. My mom couldn't think of a place to put it so I asked if I could have it and so its now mine (^_^) The detail on it is so amazing that I just wish I didn't have such a big computer monitor so I could see it when I'm on the comp.

DA And Other Updates

So I'll be selling my charms through Deviantart, and because of that I've been revamping my DA page. Got it done a lot faster than I thought I would. I even made some of my photos available as prints. Figured it doesn't cost me anything so why not. I'm actually not completely done. I still need to hire someone to do a final draft of my logo so I can upload that and to shiznitz with it.

As for my other updates. I added another item to my 'to sell' list and my room is back to being semi messy. When I start working it starts getting messy. I'll probably clean it up tonight.

Well thats all. No other updates from me. None that I can think of at least.

So Many Ideas

So a while before I got into my slump, craft/baking wise, I started to get into steampunk and aviator things. Well my mom has recently gotten me into it again and has really been pushing me to make more things. She comes into my room at random times going 'have you worked on anything yet?' Its kinda funny actually. And for you who know my mom knows just how she says it. Since I've also been packing things up in my room and moving things around so I have more room I'm starting to feel ready to get back to business. Literally. Its been so long since I've worked on anything and sold anything. I've been in a slump since before the end of my senior year. Not sure why either. Soooo I plan to go out get some new supplies and start working like crazy. Once I start to get a nice little inventory of things I'll be making business cards... actually I may do that first since, well, I just feel like it lol Steampunk/aviator wise though I wont be selling anything till early/mid summer at the earliest. Those things take more planning and time to make.

But OMC (oh-my-cow duh!)I have so many ideas in my head that its actually been keeping me up at night this past week. I know, I should just draw/write all my ideas down, but when I do that I just get mad since I have no drawing skills. I'm so excited though. Hell, I'm gonna try and draw out some of my designs right now anyways! Even gonna get some ideas for a business card too! I'm so excited I could just dance... just dance.. erg, curse you John R for always singing that at work lol

I was really sick today, had to miss work, but already I'm feeling better. Been playing Empires 2 all day. I knew I had a bunch of old comp games. Also played Zoo Tycoon but got bored with that withing half an hour. But I'm actually already bored with empires so I'm back on the hunt for my Sims games. I can only find one of my expansions. I wonder if I gave it away and forgot. Oh well.

Yay Hello Kitty!

So I just finished placing my order for the MAC Hello Kitty makeup. I ordered 2 lipsticks, 1 lip gloss, and a purse mirror in the shape of Hello Kitty's head X3 I spent more than I wanted but just by a little cuz if you spend X amount you get free shipping so I figured 'what they hey' lol I'm so excited though, this was seriously my only reason to get up today. For cereal guys, I'm totally cereal. I just wish I could have ordered one of everything but that would have cost me over $300. Yeah I need to save up for a car still DX What really sucks is that this is a limited collection so once I do have the money I wont be able to get it anymore (T^T) Oh well, now I'm just waiting for it to arrive. And when it does I plan to make a vid of it and it will be my first youtube vid. Yeah I know I'm way over due for that.

On another note I just want to say happy belated birth day to Tot. Sorry I wasn't able to say it sooner.

Mascara Review

So got myself to start cleaning my room. Of course I start with makeup (>_<) Picked up one of my mascaras and said 'why haven't I thrown you out?' so guessed I might as well do a review.

Mascara So all my friends have heard my complain about my lashes. Cuz of my eye shape my lower lid is always rubbing my top lid/lashes, and my lashes are always going into my eyes. So I need the SUPER mascara. One that one clump, smudge/water proof, extends and separates. In the past 4 years I've tried over 7 kinda, but only gonna talk about the ones I used frequently.
~Cover Girl Lash Exact (very black) Easy to apply and it did get every lash, even the really small ones in the inner eye corner. Even separated. But didn't really lengthen or add volume. Worst of all, flacked like crazy so I had to always be wiping my lower lid.
~Maybeline Great Lash (Royal Blue, Brown) Okay, now this is rated one of the top 5 mascaras for the everyday girl by like every magazine. Before I got my 2 newest mascaras this was my fav. It went on super smooth and separated my lashes. Again didn't really add length or volume but super pigmented. Only downfall was that it smudged. No girl looks good with raccoon eyes.
~L'oreal Paris Double Extend Beauty Tubes Technology (Blackest Black) I loooove this stuff. Doesn't add volume, fine with me, but lengthens like crazy. I put this on and you can actually tell I have lashes! Doesn't flake, smudge, and is tear proof yet is removed by water. What I like about how its removed is that it doesn't smear when being removed it kinda clumps together. Last ALL day and doesn't bother my sensitive eyes. But there are a few things I don't like about it. There are 2 steps, and you have to be quick with the second one. Once this stuff dries you can't add another coat or it'll clump, and it doesn't separate very well. Also when I look in my 5x mirror you don't see any of the white of the first step but when I look in a normal mirror I can see some white. Others tell me they didn't see but yeah. But still one of my favs.
~Spin Lash (black) So its not a well known one. But gotta tell you about it. The brush actually spins. Now you may be thinking 'oh so what' well it matters. It separates EVERY lash. At first I didn't use the mascara it came with, just used it as a brush to separate before putting on mascara. But since I'm doing this I decided to try the mascara it came with. It barely adds to your lashes but is really flexible and looks really natural. But guess what, I've only had it one for about 10min and its already smearing on both my lower and upper lid. I may just use the brush and the Double extend 2nd step. I've used just the second step and works the same, just not quite the length. In fact I'm gonna do that right now so brb. Baaack. Yeah didn't go to well. The Spin Lash brush is to big, so only the tip of it got any product on it. Thought about removing the rubber ring on the inside, but that wouldn't work cuz thats what scrapes off the extra product. So now I'm sad.

Oh well. Only a week till the MAC Hello Kitty line comes out.

Super Bowl Sunday!!!.... Yeah. No

So my day started off bad cuz I had my alarm set for 7pm instead of am. So I was late for work by like 40min. Didn't get in trouble or anything cuz they were all caught up. But within an hour of getting there it got crazy cuz everyone was wanting to get stuff before the game started. Honestly I hate football. I mean, I couldn't tell you who's playing and what time it started.

Anywaaaays since my day started off bad I decided to pamper myself a bit when I got home. Pulled out the old foot massager/soaker and used it while chatting it up with friends on msn. Well totally forgot to pay attention to time so I was in there for over an hour and my feet looked like they belonged to a super old person. Eeewwww. But yeah now they're really soft and smell like blackberries. Even ask my mom XD Then I started to do my nails. Nothing fancy or anything but just a little spit shine kinda thing, but gave up before the last step.

So now I'm procrastinating (long word lol) on cleaning my room. It really needs it. Oh and I finally found a new purse to use. It's a simple black Coach knock off. I've also decided to wait on getting a car cuz theres some clothes and makeup I really want to get. Yup. Thats it.

One last thing. I haven't posted any new tips or review kinda things soooo I plan on doing that tomorrow. er today... yeah.

Star Wars And Work

Nothing to really post about... cept a guy showed up at work decked out as a Star Wars character. It was so funny. I wish I wasn't working so that I could have recorded it or taken a pic with him. It was really funny when Erik our security guy went to him and said 'that character doesn't have a light saber' and he replied 'in the books he did' Wouldn't say why he did it but some people are thinking it was some kinda college bet thing. Oh and someone called him a nerd and he said 'not a nerd!' lol So that really made my day.

The Good, Bad, And The Okay

Good. I got my license today. Got a little nervous and forgot to breathe at times but passed none the less. Not too excited really, just cuz I had been driving a lot with friends.

Bad/Okay. So today Tot and Tom told me they thought they saw something about Miyavi having a concert here in MN. I haven't been able to confirm it or not yet but am working on it. If he is though I wont be going. For several reasons. If I where to go I'd want to have back stage tickets and have a chance to really meet and talk with him. I couldn't handle being so close and not doing anything really. But I'm actually okay with it. I know it will happen one day, even if it is a little latter then sooner..... Though if I hear anything on the radio or something about backstage tickets I'll have a radio by me at all times and the number on speed dial ready to win them suckers XD

Stupid Laws

So I was checking out some SUVs online and accidentally clicked on a ford. I don't like fords. I fell in love with it instantly. It is so cute and doesn't look like it has a single ding or anything on it. Oh yeah its a 2001 Ford Explorer. Seriously people send me your luck for a few days so that I can get it. And my buddy Drew is super nice, he's gonna check out the parts I can't see to make sure it is okay and everything. OMG I really want this car. If it doesn't be come mine I will cry and make sure everyone around me suffers too XD I've already got a name for it.

Know Where You Work

So today a guest came in to work asking if we have those protective sleeves for cards and we don't. She asked if I may know a place that did so I told her, "if you go across the street here where pere1 used to be, close to where subway is there is a store there that may have them..... wait... sorry I thought we were at the northtown target." yeah. I wasn't really embarrassed like I normally would have gotten, instead I think its really funny. Oh and there was this one guy who came in to look at a gps. He must have walked around the store for almost an hour just up and down the elec. isles before he went up to buy the gps. Well one of the other workers said to make sure to check his ID. She latter told us that he was in the bathroom drinking whiskey. Both P and I were like 'oh thats why he was acting weird.'

So now I'm debating if I should go to car lots to look for a my SUV or look privately like on carsoup and stuff. If I do it privately then I can probably get a better deal, but with a dealership I wont have to worry so much about getting it checked out afterwards. Well I do have friends and fam that know cars. Either way I think I'll go this week to first see about getting a loan from the bank.

Where Are The Car Lots?

So if the weather is good and all I want to go out and check out some car lots next week or the following. I really hope I'll be able to find one that day and stuff. I've already been told to check out 3 cars lots, Jeep on 10, and 2 diff places on central. If I was smart I'd call the places and see if they actually have stuff in my price range first, but we all know how much I hate talking on the phone. But yeah if anyone knows of any other places please tell me. I'm looking for like a 99-2000 SUV, preferably a Jeep Cherokee or Command, but really I like just about all SUVs, just those two I know are in my price range.

I was gonna say something about the road trip but I may just make a separate post for that.

So I've started gaining weight again. I was really happy with my appearance but I kinda got lazy after I started working. So I'm gonna be working out more and eating better. Which I should do since I'm diabetic and have PCOS or whatnot. I've also been spending more money than I should. I am gonna be watching both habits, but I tend to get week when hanging with friends so I just ask that my peeps help me out and make sure I'm not buying things I really don't need and eating things unless I'm actually hungry. I really do miss feeling good about myself so I'm super determined to get back to that and stay that way. I totally did a determined fist lol

Someone Quit

So yesterday I guess someone in the electronics department quit so they called me up seeing if I could fill in for some of their shifts. And of course since I like electronics and need the money I said yes. So if you look you'll see that I'll be working 7 days straight and most of them having to work 2 departments. Just wish there was some food here I could pack for lunch. I kinda wonder who it is that quit though. I'm pretty sure it isn't Jon or Renee. Or at least I hope not, they're my favorite electronics buddies. Anyways I probably wont be on much this week because of that. I hope they give me some days off next week then cuz I really want to go look at cars, and hope its on a tuesday or wednesday so Drew can come with me :D

What Do I Need To Box?

Like I said before we'll be moving at the end of the year. Well, we're already getting ready. Mom has already told Dave to get boxes and we are boxing up things we rarely use and such. She told me to start boxing things up too, but basically the only things I need to box up are my nick-knacks and books. Which are all thinks I kinda use everyday. Other wise my room is fairly easy to movie since Most of the bulk is already in drawers... had to look that word up XD Well I guess I can go through some of them see what things I really need and add to my free nick-knack box. But yeah I've actually already gotten some paint color samples to see which color I want to paint my room. I may put them up here and have a vote cuz I'm having a hard time choosing.

I wasn't planning on doing a post today but just kinda randomly felt like it. Sooo I'll just go along with that feeling lol..... yup......what to write about..... *half an hour latter* jk So I've always wanted to go on a road trip and me and some friends have finally started planning for it. So far it looks like it will be me, Jessica, Tiff and Valery. I'm so excited. But we don't plan to actually go for about another year or so. The places we want to go to is Cali (my fav), Canada, New York, and maybe Vegas. Two of my guy friends want to go but no. Just cuz I don't want some peeps to feel uncomfortable and 6 ppl in a car for over 2 weeks is no fun.

Other than that I have a lot of days off these next 2 months. So I for surez want to hang out with my friends and will for surez be getting some charms made.... and working out. A lot.

Backspace = Fail, click = Win

FTW! And thats for-the-win lol So the sound the backspace button makes is like fail, like I've said before. Well the clicking sound of my lighter necklace is win. I finally decided to take it apart and see what was wrong with it. That was the easy part. It was putting it back together that was hard. Took about half an hour. But I finally got it and it makes a beautiful sound. Now all I need is lighter fluid.

Another win for me is that I finally got one of the dresses I liked. Target had several black dresses that I LOVED but they were all like $40 and not in my size. So the other day I noticed that when I was doing returns they had one in my size and on sale. So I quickly went on break, tried it on and bought it..... Only $10. Yup. It is so cute, can't wait to show peeps.

I'm also trying to draw a half ass decent pic on the comp. Not easy when all I have is a mouse and I suck at drawing. So Jessica is nice enough to help me out. Now the shoulders don't look like she's about to kill and has a neck XD

Short Hair

Okay so it's not short. But it is compared to what I'm used to. I actually don't like the length. It looks fine as long as I have it down. Other than that I can't do anything with it.

So I finally saved enough so that I can start looking at cars.... Well now my permit is expired. Yuuupha. Thats just my luck there. Sooo mom and I may go out tomorrow and get that taken care of. Might as well see when I can take the actually test. Cuz I guess thats kinda important when getting a car. I really can't wait to get one though. I'm actually more excited about getting stuff for the car than the car itself. Like I want a really plush drivers wheel thingy and DH license plate frames.

Finally! A Day Off!

I've been working everyday for the past 2 weeks. I don't count the family brunch as a day off. But now I finally have 2 days off. I told them too that even if they need extra people don't bother to call me cuz I'll just say I'm sick.

Random thought. So both Jessica and I love the sound of a loud keyboard. But have you ever noticed that the typing sound compared to the backspace button is different. It's like it's saying 'fail, fail fail' thats the sound it makes.

Since I have the next two days off I must get my hair cut. It's to long and starting to split... Ah man there was something else I needed to do but now I can't remember. Oh yeah deposit my paycheck XD Oh and bring my games to gamestop

Merry Christmas

Chanukah and every other holiday celebrated. First I'd like to say that why were there so many people shopping on Christmas eve? It just doesn't make any sense. But yeah It's all good. Went home and my mom had food ready for me. Today I basically just ate leftovers, watched The Dark Night and have been on the comp since. But I do plan to clean my room before I go to bed.

I can't wait for seasonal to be completely over. I want some days off to hang with my friends. But for now I just have to deal with like a week of stuff going on sale. And sale stuff is never fun to clean up XP

As for other news, I recently found out Jon moved to Vegas. I'm so sad cuz of this. I was really missing him and was going to visit then Carissa told me he moved like 3 weeks ago.

Just A Little Update With Some Big News

So today was my aunt's family brunch. She has it every year at her country club. To be honest when we first got there I got a little emotional. I couldn't help but think of my uncle and how much I miss him. I didn't want to cry in front of everyone so I got up right away to get food XD But it was so good. I had the most lovely plate of desserts. I'll post a pic of it latterz.

For some reason people keeps telling me they never see me anymore like I'm working overtime or something. Really I'm not. It just seems like that cuz They have me working just about everyday but it's not always an 8 hour shift and they have me on a weird schedule. Even if so I don't mind cuz I like most of the people I work with. Just wish I got paid a bit more XD

Now for some big news. There is a very good chance that by November of 2009 we will be moving. Thats when I lease is up. We just really can't afford to live here and since my step dad got in a fight, more like beating, with one of the workers there is a good chance they may not even let us sign a new lease. Sad part is that he will still be with us *major moans and groans* That is unless my mom and I can find a nice super cheap place. But I've been kinda holding back on telling people this cuz this seems to happen every year but its never been this bad. I don't remember the last time our fridge was actually full (T^T)

So I need more money. I know, who doesn't. But I need to save up for a car and college. So I plan to sell some of my things. Also cuz I look around and realize that I have a lot of things I no longer use or like and don't want to pack it when I move. So I'll be making a new post with the things I do plan to sell. I may do a trade for some... All the info will be in the post.

On a side note. I am now single again. We mutually decided to break up so we are still good friends.

Then spend the night at my aunts. Went to bed as soon as I got there I was so tired. And no I didn't drink. Just some rootie-tootie. Today my aunt and I spent the day baking and stuff. Makeup Review And My Tips #1

REVIEW

~Carmex and Burt's Bees~
I have been using Burt's Bees Replenishing Lip Balm in pomegranate, but recently switched to Carmex Click Stick. I love Burt's Bees products and I did like this one. When I put it on it it was smooth and did it's job. I also like the fact that the one tube I have has lasted me longer than any other lip balm I've ever had. What I don't like about it is that over all it didn't help my lips, and in the long run thats what counts. Carmex on the hand... I put it on once and it lasts me up till I eat something. Goes on super smooth and love the little bit of tingle I get from it. What I don't like is that I'm going through it crazy fast even though I'm not using it as much. It's really soft so I guess that even though it doesn't feel like it a lot is going on your lips. And sometimes if I don't talk a lot or eat/drink something it starts to get kinda grainy, but as soon as a smack my lips a few times it's all good again. But I think From now on I'll be getting Carmex. Plus it reminds me of my favorite person who always had them in every possible place lol

~St. Ives Apricot Scrub-Gentile, Clean & Clear Daily Pore Cleanser, Equate Blackhead Clearing Scrub~
Okay so I have combination skin that gets black heads like crazy. So a daily scrub is really important. The original one I was using was the Clean and Clear. I liked that it was actually helping, the amount in the container lasted a long time, and i actually got a lather from it. What I didn't like is that my skin grew immune/used to it way to fast, and the micro beads didn't really stay on my face if that makes any sense. Then I switched to Equate cuz it was basically a cheaper brand of Clean and Clear with a slightly diff. formula. I liked the texture of formula, its a lot thiker and really stays on the face while washing. What I don't like is that I really didn't help at all and I used it up in half the time I used the clean and clear even though they're the same size. Also it does suds up or even get a lather, which I really like. So finally I've switched over to St. Ives. In the past I had used it before but not the gentile one, does make a difference. So far I'm really loving it. It uses natural exfoliants but isn't harsh at all. When you put it on it's thick but really silky. Best of all I still get a bit of a lather. What I don't like so far is that it may be to hydrating. Cuz I still need to use a moisturizer but then I get oily. May have to experiment with the amount of both I use.

TIPS

~I kinda said it above but if you've got combination skin (you have combination skin if your T-zone gets oily but your cheeks and right around your mouth get dry) like mine and are prone to black heads it really is important to get a scrub you can use daily. Make sure they're oil free. And If you tend to get zits then make sure it has Salicylic Acid. Reasons you need this is cuz it removing dead skin and cleaning your pores and thats where black head are born. It also helps to get rid of acne scars.
~Lip care. Exfoliat your lips. Unlike the rest of our body your lips don't really naturally exfloliate themselves as much. The best way to do this is to actually lightly brush over them with your toothbrush. Also when putting something on your lips like lip balm or gloss I like to just take my finger and run it over my lips to get any extra dead skin off so it doesn't get on the actual product. It also helps to get some extra blood to them which plumps them out a tiny bit more to make sure you get the color on evenly. Make sure both your hands and toothbrush are clean if doing either of these.
~Eyeliner. Because of my eye shape I've had to experiment a lot with eyeliners so that they wouldn't smear onto my under eye. That just makes you look sloppy and old. First then you do when putting anything on your eyes is put on a primer, my favorite being Urban Decay. What has worked best for me is using Prestige Liquid Eyeliner. I don't (can't) put it on in one stoke and have it look flawless (like Amanda) so I like to put it on in three sections. Middle, outer and then the inner tear duct. I let it dry just a little bit then take a short bristled brush and go over the liquid liner. This makes it so that its not such a harsh line, smears out the little oops and picks up any extra stuff that may have smudged onto the lower lid. And don't worry, it wont ruin your brush, but you probably should clean it twice as much as you normally would a makeup brush just cuz it's almost right on your eye.

Time To Prepare For Christmas

So It's not December, meaning I need to get ready for Christmas. I've been thinking about what to get people for the past week. First I was just gonna give everyone a choice between desserts, jewelry, or something bought. Then I was gonna just make a few desserts. Well now I'm thinking I may do both desserts and jewelry. I got some new things to make my charms with so I really want to try them out, thats the only reason I may do that. But for sure I'll be making some chocolate goods. For sure I'll be making both dark and white chocolate covered pretzels and spiced pecans. May or may not make fudge or truffles, even though thats what I'm really known for XD

Black Friday (A)

Yeah so actual thanksgiving day was so not worth it. The only good thing about it was the food. Which still didn't make me happy cuz I had to cook all of it. Not that I mind cooking but again Dave got the wrong ingredients. My favorite part was the sweet potatoes though. They were so good.

But yeah today was black friday. I didn't think it would be as bad as everyone said... Yeah as soon as I entered the store I was like 'omc I'm going to die. I am going into battle with nothing. I should just hide in under a table till its over.' So yeah for a good half hour I was walking around my nervous smile. You all know which one I'm talking about. Oh and on a side note I did get to work toys. For some reason though they didn't have me on the schedule so I just kinda took my breaks whenever I wanted. Which was nice actually. After the first half hour though I quickly got into the pace of it all and was doing okay. There were a lot of newer people working with me so I was a bit in charge of them lol So there are these crazy talking birds that are motion censored on the back of the isles, and I had to move them to the front... the most annoying part of my day. I kept imaging all the guests going 'why did she have to move them up front. Now theres no way to avoid it.' They really do have to be the most annoying toy ever. And they sound just like the older elmo toys.

Other than that Its all good. No work for me tomorrow. I plan to do a lot of sleeping and reading. Maybe make some turkey soup. Got just about everything I need for it.

Turkey Day Tomorrow

Turkey day is tomorrow and I've already started to get ready. I'm actually kinda mad right now. Dave did the shopping.... Yeah you can already see what I'm mad about. This bird is like 5lbs bigger than it needs to be, didn't get what I need to make a glaze, didn't get squash and get this. He already started eating the pie. Yup. He got 2 pies, apple and pumpkin. Half of the apple is already gone. Pig ate that much in one sitting. *sigh* other than that I'm gonna try a new way of making the sweet potatoes which makes me want to go into a rant.

There are actually 'sweet potatoes' and 'yams'. Not related in anyway. But In almost 90% of supermarkets they label 'sweet potatoes' as 'yams' This is because there are several different types of sweet potatoes, and one of them is sweeter than the rest. Because of this they like to label them differently, they also like to do this because they can easily make a few extra bucks by making you think you're buying something better than a store advertising them as sweet potatoes. So yes there is technically a difference between SP and yams, but I'm betting if you've had them both at one point or another, specially at a holiday dinner that they were actually the same thing, even the same family of the SP. Oh and just an extra tidbit, SP can very from a yellowish rounder spud (not to be confused with ones like Idaho) to the classic SP/yam, orange-ish with tips. Actual yams have a very dark brown, almost black, bark like skin to it.

Why Kevjumba!?

So we all know one of my favorite youtubers... yeah, is Kevjumba. So when he made a vid saying he would be on the Youtube Live stream I got supper excited. It was also my first time hearing about the live thing. And so I checked it out and he was on the performers list so I made sure I'd be able to watch it. Got home today from work and was super tired so I took a nap and set my alarm. I actually didn't end up watching it till like 10min into it. But I never saw him (*A*) Not only that but his name was no longer on the performers list. But they replayed the whole thing but I only watched what I missed and I still didn't see him. So sad. I then started to look it up to see if anyone had yet to upload it and no. So then I went to his vid that said he would be there and I guess all his fans are sad. Also found out that he was backstage. Lame, he's so cool I think they should have had him on there. I was gonna re watch the whole thing, trying to find him on the backstage cam but I'm to tired to do that. So I'm hoping that either he or a fan will upload his small appearance on youtube.

seasonal shopping makes me sick

So just gonna do a really quick post. The seasonal holiday is upon us. If I have to work Green side or Soft lines at work I will not be happy XP I know Elecs and Toys will be the most busy but I'm more comfortable there. But yeah because of this I'll be working just about everyday. And they have me on a weird time schedule, so I'll be crazy tired. I probably wont be hanging out or talking much. I'll be sleeping, eating and working. So don't think I've gone and died or just hate you or something.

Also I think I may be either a bit sick or allergic to something. I've been sneezing like crazy lately, wake up with a really dry mouth and I'm breaking out in a really weird way. Its not even really breaking out cuz it's not a zit or a blackhead. Just really small bumps. Would this be a rash? I don't know cuz I've never had one. But now that I still have an hour to go to work I'm gonna take a 45min nap (-_-) yuuuuuupp

Google Phone Review #1

So now that I've had my google phone for a while I'll do a little review on it. First of all just so everyone knows the google phone (G1) is a new for T-mobile. Like I've been telling everyone it's like the apple touch had a baby with a side kick. It has the full touch screen and the full qwerty. Also keep in mind that I'm only talking about things I've noticed. If you have more detail about something I'm talking about then please leave a msg for me and I'll come back and add that info in. Credit going to you of course.

I love the way this thing opens up. It kinda swivels out and it doesn't feel loose or anything. When I was considering getting a side kick that was one of my concerns. I had gone in and when I slid or 'twisted' it open it felt really loose like if you were to drop it open you could break it. And I actually have dropped my G1 (close to the ground though) while it was open and it's still working great.

The full qwerty is really nice. I can't really compare it to a side kick. The only thing I don't like is how close the send button is to the delete button. I'm always sending things before I finish typing them. A lot of people, like everyone I've talked to or have seen really don't like the chin on this phone. I don't hate it but I also don't love it. It's great for if you're watching something on there or showing someone else something on it. The size doesn't actually bother me much when I'm typing. And if you're a friend (most likely) you know I have really small hands and short fingers. I can comfortable type with my thumbs on the home keys. Though it is faster if I use my left hand for the normal left home keys plus the right extension home keys. I will admit though that for the size of the chin that they could have added 2 more buttons, like a speaker one (don't like having to go through a menu to get to it)

Before I talk about other things I'll just say the 2 things that really frustrate me. First off, for some reason when I go to save something like a pic it will tell me to insert SD card first... Well I hate to tell you but I've never once fully taken my SD card. When this happens I have to click it out and lock it in place again. And sometimes I'll take a pic, save it on there then when I go to take another and save it I'll get that msg. I'm not sure if it's my SD card or what. It's the one it came with.... then again that would explain it XD Also, now this is what really tweaks me, I can't connect it to my computer. It works fine with the upstairs family comp. Now I now a lot of people have been having this problem. Many think (not sure if its actually true or not) that its cuz it won't work with a usb plug in thats older than a 2.0, which mine is. And I don't see how that could be since all my other new tech stuff works just fine with it. But Yeah I've done everything. I've restarted my comp, phone, emailed reviewers, checked forums, I even tried plugging the usb cord only like %80 of the way in. Guess that worked for some people, but not me. So now I have to put my songs, pics and all that jazz onto my flash drive and dl them onto the family comp and then upload them to my phone. May not seem like a lot to some but trust me, it really is.

But what else. I don't have a problem with the internet speed or even getting a connection. Though I can't wait to be able to put Flash on there (not yet possible) I'd give the applications a B-. I'll talk a bit about my favs. My fav apps. right now are 'weather bug', 'night clock', and 'compare everywhere.' So for a while I did have 'the weather channel' but did not like it at all. I like being able to see the weather forecast like you would on the news, which is what the 'weather bug' can do. It just give really great detail and you can even see a pic of your local area. 'Night clock' Is just as it sounds. It's so that instead of it 'going to sleep' or whatever you get the time, and that covers your full screen land scape view. I really like this for at night I can just glance at it to see what time it is (to much work to look at my actual clock) and you can change the color of the numbers, brightness, and even set an alarm through it. I really have heard nothing but good reviews about it. The other one I've been using a lot lately cuz of Christmas and all is 'compare everywhere.' I like that you can scan a barcode or punch in what it is and it will look up different stores that have it and list their prices. When you do that you can then add it to a list, even comes with a pic, and send it to ppl or just check things off yourself as you get them and such. But there are 2 things I don't like about it. One is that it can take a while just for the camcam to read the barcode. The other part I really don't like is that it doesn't have info for a lot of things. Half the things I tried scanning showed up as no data. Keep in mind though that it was candy boxes, but I hear a lot of people agree. Other than that app. wise right now I'm comparing 'bender' and 'glance.' So far I"m liking 'bender' more. Oh and the 'pop pop popcorn' game is really fun, also like 'bublewrap' but it needs better sound. And I wish people would stop comparing the strop light with the flash light. They're meant to do two completely different things.

But for now thats all I can think of. I'll post another G1 review latter, maybe even a vid one. But yeah you have any comments, info, or tips and tricks please share. And sorry for the supper long post.

Wall-e, conquering your fears

Long time since my last entry I know... what 4 whole days. I've been messing around with my new google phone and I am loving it. I admit there are some parts of it that make me sad but I've learned to work around it. Mostly with it communicating with my comp. It actually wont work cuz my comp is to old so I'm stuck having to use the upstairs one XP

My step dad is being a jerk like usual so today Jessica and I put up the house lights. Yeah only in the front though. I had to climb a very high ladder. I'm very afraid of heights. Very very much so. So for today I conquered my fear of heights just for my mommy.

Then Jessica and I went to rent some movies. Just finished Wall-e and I LOVED it. OMC now I now what the big deal is. It is so amazingly cute and not in a childish way. The extra stuff was good too. I feel really bad for Burn-e though. Oh major props to the ending credit people. The whole thing was basically a recap of the movie. So cute.

Other than that just getting ready for the holiday season at work. Gonna suck but should be interesting. Only reason it sucks is cuz we'll be running around like crazy and staying open an extra hour. The money is worth it in the end. Not that I'm actually making a lot.

Google Phone!!!!!!!!!!!!!11one

Tehe I got my paaayyyyycheeeeeeck! Its amazing! it really is. Basically the only thing that matters today is that I got my Google phone. First we stopped at the actual store and they told me I had to have Dave transfer ownership to me. So he did that on the phone. We tried doing it before but they said they wouldn't cuz I don't have an actual drivers license, but the guy at the store said they should have been able to do it. So after all that We went back to the store and they were all out of the google phone. Total emoness. So the guy called the one in NorthTown and they said they still had one so we went over there to get it. Now in order to get it cheaper I was doing an upgrade but the guy said that I wasn't allowed to upgrade since I just transfered ownership to me. But both the other store guy and one one on the phone said I had to do that first. So after a few calls he was able to do it for me. I was so happy that I couldn't stop smiling. As soon as I got home I started to put on the Invisible Shield. Took me about an hour and a half XP .... Now I know you're supposed to wait at least 12 hours after putting it on to use the phone but I couldn't help myself. I had to hold it. And when I did that I turned it on lol so now I can't stop putting it down. The only reason I'm even typing this now is cuz I'm DL some stuff. lol But yeah it's the most amazing thing I've ever had.

I Held A Baby :D

So yup I got to hold Carissa's baby Kisa today. I was totally nervous, and every time she made a sound I was like 'did I do some thing wrong?' but I didn't lol Was was funny when she made a wee wee and Carissa had to change the diaper, cuz she kept farting lol We couldn't stop laughing. I'm the second of the friends to see the little baby tehe. Of course Amanda was the first :D

But other than that I basically got 2 hours of sleep and I'm still not tired. It's really weird. And I remembered the other thing I wanted to say earlier. So as everyone knows I have long hair. And when you have long hair one of the first things you do is learn to braid it yourself. Since I was bored last night and was getting mad at my hair and bags I taught myself to braid my own hair. I got it right the first time. Looks good and only took me about 5min. Oh and I'm SUPER excited about tomorrow XD

Food Can Be A Bad Thing (A)

Yeah. It's about 4am. Got like 9 hours of sleep plus 6 hours of work, and then another 2-3 hours of hanging with a couple friends. Normally I'd be in bed at like 1-2am and would like to be there right now, but I'm not even tired. Why? Cuz I had some major junk food while with my friends. We went to Deny's. Got myself a cowboy burger and pop. Our waitress was super nice. She was really nice when Tiff spilled her drink and when she asked if we wanted a dessert, Tiff ordered one but I said 'I'm to poor for dessert, sorry.' But then she came out with two of what Tiff ordered saying she messed making it the first time and would have had to thrown it away so just gave it to me. I think she did it just to be nice XD So we tipped her well. She was so nice. Remember to treat your waiters and waitresses nicely and they'll treat you nicely back. But cuz of our little spill we moved seats and the people on the other side of us were crazier than us. Now thats rare. But we seriously laughing so hard that for like 10min we couldn't even eat. Then we started singing random songs, the best was when we started singing Poor Unfortunate Souls from Little Mermaid. After that we stopped to get some gas (still under $2) and I had to get one of those slushy cola drinks XD And I've been eating super healthy this past 2 weeks so all this sugar is keeping me up.

Tomorrow I get to see Carissa's baby Kisa for the first time though! I'm excited about that. I really want to hold her (yay I didn't say 'it') but I'm also nervous cuz for some reason babies don't like me. And then Friday Jessica, Tiff and I are going to get our pay checks and check out the stores. Don't know if I'll get my phone then or Saturday. Depends what all we do.

EDIT: 8am. Still haven't gone to bed. Instead I've been messing with my make up and looking things up on youtube. There were two things I wanted to say but now I can only remember one. And that would be this, which is forever stuck in my head cuz of Jessica ----> Every Day I Love You Less And Less I'd only heard like the first few lines so I thought I'd look it up and share it with everyone. Now you too can have it stuck in your head lol

Oh but I remembered something that randomly came up today. While I was out with my friends we had a moment where we were goofing off and Tiff goes "that was mean" and we both got a bit silent.... I asked if I was ever nice. More silence.... Like we all agree I'm a nice person but couldn't think of any times where you could go 'that was nice of you.' lol Not that I'm 'mean' it's the kinda mean where you throw your wrapper at a friend after opening up something. Or when they do something stupid you respond by going 'do you want a side of epic with that fail' lol But yeah if anyone can think of a specific time where I was nice please share with me. Morning Post

I don't like to post in the morning just cuz I haven't really had a chance to do or even think of anything, but I guess I have today lol

My mom went to the doctors today but I guess they sent her over to the hospital, don't worry nothing majorly serious. She's not going to die. If she was I wouldn't be here posting this right now. So now Jessica is over here to give me a ride to work.

Other than thaaaaat I've decided that after I get my phone that I'm gonna start working on my charms and stuff again. What sucks is that during the summer I had a whole line worked out in my head but that involved me going to garage sales to get some supplies and I never got around to doing that. Partly cuz I was pooooooooooooor. But mostly cuz my friends don't like garage sales (-3-)

Oh yeah I got a really small plant at Target Saturday planted it that night, now Tuesday It's already sprouted and is an inch tall! I thought it would take at least a week to even root itself, otherwise I'd have taken picks of it. But I will once it's fully grown with pretty white flowers..... I both hate and like white flowers, but never give me white roses. NEVER.

First one goes to Eight Seven Central I got a random friend request from him and I always at least check them out when it has to do with music, and to be honest I wasn't expecting anything amazing but his music is really well composed and he's got a nice voice.

Second one goes to Brooke. Don't really know her but she's friends with two of my friends. But she gets some props for doing some amazing things. Like she made them some cool sites and has one of her own, and she also makes cool jewelry.

Yup thats it for now. I have more people I plan to give some props to but don't feel like doing it right now. And nothing else to really talk about. Ordered my inviable shield yesterday. Just hope I get it before I get my phone.... in like 5 days!

Oh yeah, yesterday was Jessica's grandma's b-day! Woot big happy birthday to her. I tend to call her grandma myself sometimes lol Side note. She's the same age as Barbra Streisand, my mom's favorite person in the world other than her kids.

Nooo My Falsies (T^T)

So sad. Last time I wore my falsies I forgot to clean them, said I'd do it when I got home. Spent the night at my aunt's. I just got around to doing that and I accidentally pulled off like a 1/4 of an inch of the lashes right off. So sad. I need to go to Ulta anyways so I'll grab some, but they're like $9 XP Oh well I'm not one of those people that have to wear them every time I go out. And if I have to I can use my other ones. They just don't look as natural, more of a night look.

Other than that yesterday Jessica and I got Carissa's baby gift stuff. We also saw Sammie and Christina.

So at work we just finished revamping our photo lab so it's all digital now. No more film for us. Because of this a load of the workers had to learn about all the new stuff. For the past week or so it seems like every time I walk by all I see is a mini pool of red shirts. Today was crazy though. There were 2 people working electronics and 3 of us were on blue side, which helps now and then with electronics. Some people were joking saying yesterday must have been thanksgiving. Yeah it was a saturday but it was an odd time of the day, but there were sooo many people there. Toys, it was like a blood clot. The isles were so full people couldn't move, and electronics was so busy that there wasn't a moment that someone was asking for something. Electronics had it the worse, after we got done with pulls we all went to help electronics, and it was still crazy.

Hope My Math Is Right

So I checked and double checked, and I Should be for sure able to get the GOOGLE phone next weekend. I tend to always be wrong when it comes to estimating my paychecks and stuff but even with taxes and if I'm off by like $100 I'll still be able to get it. But still lets hope I'm not wrong cuz I'd really like to be able to actually start saving some money for classes and a car.

Today was my first day working a double shift... on 5 hours of sleep. I wasn't scheduled for it. But I was planning on asking to work an extra shift once I got to work, they said they didn't need any but I could still sign up to work on cashiering if they really needed me. So as my first shift went by I thought they probably wouldn't ask me to work any more, but then I got the call over the wakie saying I could pick up another shift. Now I don't mind working as long as its not soft lines and I was working blue side like I had earlier but for a while I was the only one on the side. Not easy when there's a HUGE sale going on (o.O) But since I had planned to ask for a double shift and was hoping I work my good work out shoes since they are more comfy and just have better arch support. Wellll I was in pain. Towards the end of my first shift my Achilles tendon started to hurt a bit. I just kinda bent that part of my shoe back a bit to make it more flexible. Well when It came time to work my second shift it started to hurt like crazy, and I had to work through it cuz I wasn't smart enough to ask for a band aid. I don't know how to describe it. It's kinda like a blister but it's actually solid. But yeah luckily I went to Jessica's house afterwords and she gave me one of those big cloth ones I like.

Tomorrow I plan to hang out with Jessica and Samie. It's not planned for the same time but I'm gonna try and work them in together. Saves time and money, and is just more fun.

I Rocked The Vote

Yup I voted. First time EVER. I gotta admit there really was nothing to it but still was excited. Actually ran into my neighbors there... not the ones that I hate lol I like my little 'I voted today' sticker. Kinda want to do something special with it XD

Today at work I had to call another Target to see if they had a certain item. Well for those who don't know when you get a call on the work phone that is your main priority. Well this girly talked to several other customers for 10min then put me on hold, after 2min hung up on me. If it wasn't for the fact that we were busy I would have called back to talk to their LOD (not a good thing for them)

So my room no longer smells like garlic. My mom thinks it might be cuz out neighbor's kitchen is on the other side of my room that they may be the cause. I don't know about that but oh well. But now my room smells like cinnamon. which makes me think of "I'm allergic to cinnamon"

Actually I'm a little nervous about voting. No idea why. Well kinda, I always get a little nervous doing something for the first time. I know what school to go to but I'm not sure if I know where it is XD The part that really sucks though is that I have work so either I have to do it before or after. I know legally I could just leave work to vote but I really need the hours. So I'll probably do it after words.

I didn't say it before, but if you do the manga/anime survey in my earlier post then please send me reply of what you filled out. I'm interested to see what ppl have watched/read.

Today I had the day off so I decided to pamper myself a little. I started by putting lotion and gloves on my hands lat night right before I went to bed. I know it sounds silly and it actually kinda is, but OMC (oh-my-cow) my hands are now crazy soft. Then I did my nails a bit, they really needed it, and shaped my eyebrows. You guys would have laughed if you saw me. I have these like sticker stencils and it says to put the eyebrow part on so I did. Then I traced it in white and well that didn't work to well. So cleaned that off and put the inverse(?) part of the sticker over my eyebrow and colored that in with black. Still didn't work to well so I just out lined that with white, that worked. So now my eyebrows are about a quarter of an inch thiner and looking goooood XD It was funny though cuz when I just had the black and white on I looked like I was mad.

Now for something weird. The past 3 some days my room has been smelling like garlic. Now if it was just that simple I wouldn't find it so weird and just air out my room. But here's the weird part. It smells fine in the morning, it doesn't start to smell till like the evening. I've already tried to air out my room, like some candles, and spray it with febreze and nothing works. It's actually starting to piss me off. At first I thought maybe the air filter needs to be changed but that wouldn't explain why it's just my room and at that time.

First off, I haven't said anything about it cuz I made this after it happened... but my friend Carissa had her baby. It's a girl. Her name is Kisa. Makes me think of Fruits Basket, not sure it its supposed to or not but it does.Was born October 29th. I haven't had a chance to actually see it yet but I plan to.

I really can't wait to get my Google phone. Like I keep imagining me holding it and doing amazing things with it.

Oh and I the only one thats like Uber happy about gas prices!? Sad I know, but think about it. it's almost under $2. I really don't remember the last time it was that low. Jessica and I were able to get $10 of gas and fill half the tank.

So Funny story about work today. It was my first time closing on a Sunday. And at about 8:30 they started to announce 'the registers will be closing in half an hour' and I was like 'what the huh' and it was then that I found out we close early on Sundays. When we were all in the office place getting ready to leave so I called Jessica telling her I was done and told her that I didn't know that we closed early on Sundays... everyone heard me and started to laugh XD

Halloween 08 was fun (^_^)

Sooo yeah Jessica and I did all th things I said we would. We had to go pick up her brother though cuz he was hungry and wanted to hang with us. When we went to NorthTown so I could check out the Google phone I found out their dad has one XD SO jealous. But yeah I thought I was like $2 short of getting the phone so I didn't get it yesterday. Guess in a way it was a good thing cuz I want the white one (looks more future like) and they didn't have it yet. Latter I found out I had more than enough to get the phone. Before I had subtracted $25 from my check book when I should have added it so thats why I thought I was short. But now I've already spent some of my money so I will have to wait for my next paycheck. 2 Weeks. Okay. Then we went back to her place and started carvi9ng pumpkins. It was the first time I carved on in like 10 years. Then I baked the seeds and we handed out candy. Oh and I helped her dress like Marly from KH.

Her family goes all out for Halloween

I both hate and love my dad's pink flamingos, so I find these to be amazing.

In the front yard they even have a self made coffin, with fog, and tombstones. I like the one that says "sausage and pepperoni."

They even built their own electric chair. It's not a working one though lol They even have a fog machine under it to make it look like he's actually getting electrocuted.

Yup. Jessica as Marly. I just put it up cuz I did her hair. I've never had such a hard time getting hair to hold a curl.

It's not the best pic but yeah here's my pumpkin. It's Jack! My mom thought it looked like a walrus so she said it reminded her of my dad lmao.... sad part is we all started to see how she saw that.
